I wouldn't say that I'm exactly embracing it.

I'm not someone who is ashamed of my age, which is 45. But I don't "embrace" getting older. What's to embrace? My body becoming decrepit, my friends and family dying off, my finances becoming strained because I need to hire help to maintain my home and land, and if I'm really "lucky" (said with tongue firmly placed in cheek) I'll live so long I'll be all alone and shacked up in a nursing home, bed ridden and being abused by some underpaid orderly.

On the other hand... getting old beats the alternative. For now, anyhow.

It's okay... I just turned 30 and it's kind of fun. I'm getting hit on by younger and older guys and I luv it. Remember, a woman's sexual prime is in her 30's so enjoy!

I'm young..and i don't have time to worry about aging...I would rather be over the hill than under it....In my line of work i see alot of death..{I'm a Nurse} So i have a full appreciation for life.

Embracing, it has only gotten better as I have gotten older. Plus I get closer to retirement every year.

I love getting older. There is nothing to be afraid of if you live your life in a good way.
