1994 crown victoria. was sitting 4 or 5 mnths before purchase. drives good, bought from an old couple, proof of regular maintenance. car cuts off sometimes when i am at a stop light. car voltage decreases when i turned lights on at night. but goes up as llong as im driving. had battery and alternator tested. both tested good, any suggestions???/

Its probably the spark plugs. Sounds like an electrical problem. Either that or its the catalyc converter.

check you terminals clean them with a wire brush or some steel wool makes sure they are connected good and tight clean i bet that'll fix it if not you have corrosion some were on the inside of the wire leading from your positive side of the battery and you'll need another one

i would guess that its the water pump even thoe you didnt sahy anything about the pump

and im editing the post to tell you that the person after me that sugessted the cat converter dosnt know what they are talking about. if it was that you would feel bucking at higher speeds, like your riding a horse.

Start cheap. Change the fuel filter. only costs a couple bucks.
