I LIVE IN GRAND RAPIDS MICHIGAN. I'm only twleve years old but do not let my age fool you. I'm mature and responsible capable of doing anything I set my mind to, old enough to understand that I DON'T know everything, and smart enough to realize my full potential. I like to work, becaue it's not only fun to me but it gets me out of my house. Summers almost over and when I go back to school I'd like to go back with a little bit of money in my pocket. I'm not going to describe all the details as to what I need the money for just yet. Well, if you're hiring please reply to this, I REALLY need a job. I'm willing to do anything, anything that doesn't involve stupitity. oh, and I'm not selling drugs or myself so you can forget that but anything else, i'm your gal! PLEASE and thank you.

You're not 14 and can't be on the payroll, however, you can do some odd jobs. Say, an owner wants you to re-stack his shelves and you get paid $15 bucks or so. Babysitting is one way to start.

wow what drive and ambition.....................you will go far, how about doing the odd jobs thing, maybe putting up a flier on giving them to trusted neighbors and friends of your parents. that way you would at least be able to start to generate a small amount of income......you know look around the area and see if you can fill a niche............snow shoveling, mowing weeding lawns etc..............another good way is to volunteer at some places maybe an old peoples home............that way you will at least have a place to refer back to when you are able to go out into the real world and work for some one else.

And sorry not even close to your area but am sure you can market your self to being able to get some sort on foot in the door.

Regards

No one will hire you. You are too young. You could volunteer to get experience or do some babysitting. You have to start some where.

Sorry but at 12, it's illegal for you to work. At 13 though you can work for your father's/mother's buisness as long as it isn't coalmining or anything like that.
