urinola in english means chamber pot. it is a pot taken to the sleeping chamber (bedroom) at night to save frequent trips to the bathroom especially when the bathroom is located at a disadvantaged point of the house.
a bed pan is a flat pan especially designed for people with disability. the pan serves its purpose while the the patient is lying down. thus this is different from the typical chamber pot.
in spanish, it is called bacin or bacinica. (pronounced ba'sin or ba'si'nica)

Listen peeps -----
First of all, the correct Tagalog term is ARINOLA. In Spanish, it is ORINOL or ORINOLA To the asker: I'm afraid your word "URINOLA" doesn't exist in any language.
In English, if you look in the Tagalog-English Translation link, it does say "chamber pot"......BUT, I haven't heard that word being used in the Philippines not even in the hospitals...the word we commonly used is BED PAN!!!! And occasionally, we use POTTY (coz that's where we train the kiddos to do their thing.)
URINAL (English) is yet another acceptable translation but as used in hospitals, they refer to that glass or enamel container where bedridden male patients can pee (but to poo, they still have to use the bed pan).
nena googled it....100% correct!

Yes, the english word for it is urinal. And "urinola" is a Spanish word. And the other english word could also be urinal basin or urinal dish.
