I don't think Dustin cared if the nomination stayed or was changed. He had an alternate plan if one of the original two were taken off. I think it would have been hard for him to use the POV on Jen or Kail. At the time, he probably figured he didn't have anything to lose by taking the trip and money.
Dustin has a 1 in 10 chance of winning the jackpot. Not the best odds. At least this way, he makes sure he gets to go home with something. The question would have been left up until someone took the prize. As it was, I doubt anyone else would have considered it an option.
This choice may result in him going home. It just depends on who wins HOH next week.

I think Dustin did the right thing. He took the money and the trip and at the same time let Jameka win POV to save Jen and he put up Nick. Smart move. He might not have made friends but if Nick goes home it would be worth it. Can't make everyone happy, might as well make yourself a little more comfortable. Besides this is a game about winning money, why else be there?

Well....Joe warned everyone that he was greedy & selfish...I guess nobody in the house believed him. But in all reality...I would of done the same thing because if by chance Dustin doesn't make it to the final 2....and his actions tonight show that he doesn't think that at all......at least he's not walking away empty handed like everyone else. Especially once evryone finds out he back doored a couple of ppl.

You're right....Dustin is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. For that matter, none of them are except ED. Dustin did get caught up in the moment, and admitted it. He was just thinking about himself and his " girlfriend " when he bought the trip. He apparently didn't know how badly he had screwed up until ED pointed it out to him. Then he was like " Oops".
I really think this may be the biggest ship of fools the producers have ever put in the BB House.

Dustin, Amber, and Jameka have all showed their true colors tonight.
They have been trying to manipulate this vote since the get go.
The votes are there to get rid of Kail.
Dustin, Jameka, and Amber are teaming up to get Nick out and saying it is purely strategy.
Jameka used God to excuse her saving Jen when Jessica and Danielle said they would not change the nominations. She said she could not be selfish but the majority of the house begged her to change her decision.
Amber seeing that Jameka was going to take off Jen and not Kail started to cry because she wants Zach out and not Nick. She cried again when Dustin took all those prizes because he would have taken Kail off and put Zach up.
And of course, Dustin taking the money sent word to Amber and Jameka that he thinks he is bigger than himself. He took the prizes, he expected Jameka to take the heat for the veto and Amber to take the heat for asking for putting up Nick.
This is strategic but for Dustin to reduce support for Dick and Danielle who will be gunning for somebody come Thursday.
Everybodyshould vote to evict Kail and teach all three of these people a lesson.

Yes I think he showed his true colors..I hated the way he acted so cocky when he bought what he did..I think this will put a target on his back and I think that is why Amber got so upset..One that he was so greedy and two that she knows the house has seen the true him and will target him.

Yeah his greedy true colors came out tonight and everyone saw it. He thought only of himself and not the others in the house. Even Amber is freaking out over it and she is his best friend.

I honestly found it hilarious.
True colors? I think he showed himself as someone that loves trips and money--who doesn't?
I know if it was me, it'd be hard to turn down the money...
Everyone in the house is mad at him now, but they'll get over it. I mean look at Boogie and Dr Will--and they made it to the end!

If he wanted the Nominations to stay he should have not bought those prizes he didnt care!! He knew Jameka was going to take Jen off if she won so he should have fought hard to win Veto

Yeah, he definitely put a huge target on his back. It did affect my opinion of him but I think he really just got caught up in the moment.
