I'll assume you mean range.

Cat5e can be run for lengths of 328 feet (100 meters) maximum. It's a standard practice to cut the Cat5e cable at 300 feet (90 meters) to allow for a 15 foot (5 meter) patch cable on both ends if necessary.

Cat6 has the same distance limitations.

Not sure what you are asking. Cat 5E is the basic ethernet cable at this point with cat 6 gaining in popularity.

ranges? the types used currently are cat3 (no one uses this anymore but it still exists in installs), cat5, cat5e, and cat6. the speeds are 10mbps, 100mbps, and 1gbps
