Hi I would like to watch this movie with some family but before I would like to know exactly what content I might be exposed/exposing others too. If you could detail some of the reasons why it was rated NC-17 that would be great, specifically images and what is shown etc. Thanks!

excessive drug use
sexuality (especially if you get the director's cut version)
foul language..
Pretty much, if you have anyone in the family who is too young, or will be disgusted easily DON'T watch it with them.
I think the NC 17 rating is overused, but in this instance IT FITS..
Great movie though

there is alot of drug use. they have alot sex in sex for drugs. There are also graphic medical scenes
