My name is Tania and i hate it. I want to get it changed and i am going to soon. But What can i change it too. The middle name is Anne. I have to keep it Anne. My personality is that i love nature and i love to swim and draw. I am a very kind person too. I was thinking Faith. What do u think?

all girls go through a stage where they hate their names, i know i did as did most of my friends, i even went through a stage where i made up this little nick name and made all of my friends and teachers at school call me that name instead. In the end though i realized my name was very special because my parents gave it to me. It is something that could never be replaced and would always have a strong meaning to them. Once you have children you will understand how wonderful it is to be able to name your child, and it would be very offending and hurtful to your parents if you changed it. The name tania is not only beautiful but also quite unique and it shows that your parents took alot of time in thinking and preparing your name to make it special just for you. if you sat down and though about it i bet your name fits you better than you think it does.

If you like your middle name why not just go by that? Why waste money and time (court) to change it. And if you do change it you better think long and hard because 20yrs from now when you think the name you picked is stupid you will have to change it again. Or you can pick a name and have your friends and family use that name for a few months before you make it permanent. And besides that if you have to ask what everyone else thinks you may not be ready to change your name in the first place. I'd say wait or just don't do it.

You will need to get it legally changed and notify the appropriate agencies. Do a net search for "name change". I'm sure there's a government link offering forms and info for your area.

I think you should just keep your name and go by Anne. That way you won't have to change any paperwork or legal documents (which you will have to do).

Also, then your family and friends don't have to remember you by a new name.

Summer Anne, Autumn Anne, Amber Anne, Because you love nature and love to swim, draw...just choose one you like..don't dwell on what goes with your "personality" necessarily...anything with Anne would be very beautiful/pretty.

I don't think you should change it. Your parents gave you the name, hoping it would last your life. Do they want you to change it? Do they even know you are? Tania is a pretty name, by the way. I would be hurt if my child changed there name, and I gave it to them with my best intentions.

My name is Tanya and I hated it. Did you know that your name is derived from Tatyania? I decided to use that name instead.

But if I had my choice I would change it to Hailey.
