when wu-tang forever came out. i think that was 1997. i had never wanted a hear a record so bad in my life. i skipped school to go cop that one and played it repeated for months. it sealed the deal. i was a wu fan for life after that.

Most memorable moment......that's a difficult one. So many moments.....I can't pick just one. They all have their level of significance from videos, to TV shows, to awards shows, to real life moments. I remember Cool Moe Dee's The Wild Wild West, the style during that time with those "Sho' Nuf" shades (think The Last Dragon) and Adidas sweatsuits, to Salt N Pepa, The Fat Boys where we all tried to slap our cheeks, to New Edition, to Video Music Box and that show with Donnie Simpson and Sherry Carter, to the time when new jack swing music was banging in the early 90's to Bad Boy/Death Row takeover in the mid-90's, to bling days, to now. Those moments and those moments in between make hip hop as a whole, memorable. WORD IS BOND :)
