The sum of 16 + 16?

16 + 16 is a sum. A little redundant there.

But it's 32

6 + 6 = 12
Keep the 2, carry the 1
1 + 1 + 1 = 3

32.

So the answer is 32.

Hope it helps!

16 is nothing more than 10+6
=10+6+10+6
=10+10+6+6
=20+12
=32

Or, you could make it 15+1
=15+1+15+1
=30+2
=32

Simply, 16 + 16 equals 32.

I would do it this way too:

1

16
16
___
3 2

(the old fashioned way of adding)

I hope that helps you out! Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Sincerely,

Andrew
