Yes baseball is a great sport because the fields can all varry slightly make the players have to adjust. There is no Clock in the game the game will go nine innings or more. Plus there is no Ties witch is good. Soccor is not fun because what is the point of a 90 minute game where there is only 1 goal scored.

Baseball is totally awsome! One of the best sports out there deffinately. It does annoy me when someone says one sport is "better" then another, especially cricket. For some reason there is this little problem that some people have with eachother. So like yea baseball ROCKS!!!

No, it doesn't infuriate me. When I start reading that type of thing, I don't bother finishing it. I'll just go back and find another question.
I feel that everyone has their opinion, and that's fine. But I fail to see the point of going into that section and bashing the sport. That's about as low as it gets. All they're trying to do is get people angry, and personally, I will not let them succeed.

Cricket? I'd rather watch paint dry. Baseball isn't the greatest sport of them all, but compared to cricket, it's far superior. I'm an American living in the UK. They are cricket happy. I've tried watching it in the past, but wanted to shoot myself after about 10 minutes.

This is too much of a cultural issue. No one can really answer this, becasue Americans have baseball and British/Indians/Pakistanis/Australians have cricket. As an Indian and American, I believe that they both are good and are the same, except that cricket takes longer to finish.

It does bother me that there are people like that. Though cricket is a fun sport to play (I'm American)
I hate it when people think that NASCAR or any auto racing is a sport, but I don't go bashing them.
But baseball is not the greatest sport of all. Soccer is (in my opinion), because you do not need much equipment (more global competition), it stops once, and there is no set time for you to be offense or defense. You are the same at all times.

Baseball is my favorite sport and I think it is close to being the run away greatest. The fact that over 700,000 people attended game last Saturday is a testament to that fact.

Nah. I just forget about it. I've been a Rangers fan since before I could tell you who did what, the line up. I was even a fan before I could pronounce Ivan Rodriguez's name correctly. So about 12 years. The haters can go somewhere else. Cause baseball rocks!! No wonder why its America's game, right? =)

I merely wonder two things:
1. do any (self-proclaimed) baseball fans wander into the other sport forums and piss in those pools?
2. how barren are these peoples' lives, that pissing in the baseball pool is the best thing they can think of to do with their limited time?
Granted, there are doofi all over, but this is really scraping the bottom of the pit.

Not really. It's usually just some dorky teenager (if even that old) who likes to rile people up. It makes them feel good about themselves to know that they can sit safely behind a computer screen somewhere and cause so much aggravation. The best thing to do is ignore them. If nobody responded to their claptrap then eventually they'd tire of it, tuck their tail between their legs and scuttle off.
