PCOS help please?

ok so my doc has done a blood test to test for this but i know nothing about it, can anyone help me??what is it??

PCOS is when none of the cysts in your ovary become the dominant egg, causing it to float out to be fertilized or have a period. I have it also and my doctor put me on Metformin, a drug that is typically given to diabetics. I am not insulin resistant or overweight. I believe that there are 5 different types of PCOS. you should try to google PCOS and it will give you a lot of info to read up on it. I thought I had this as well and I read all kinds of stuff on it. My test results came back neg. though and I just don't get my period on my own or ovulate. My dr. put me on Prover to start my period and then Clomid to make me ovulate.
