I had to re-write this question - I origionally asked "what would a liberal written constitution look like?" and the libbies jumped down my throats because "the founding fathers were considered liberal in their day".

Well that may be true, but guess what? The founding fathers would be considered very conservative by TODAY's standards. That fact being out there, how would TODAY's liberals frame a government? Ban religion? Ban arms? Right to privacy? Right to bear and use drugs?

If liberals were to write the constitution today, it would look like a first grade drawing of their family holding hands under the sunshine.

hahahaha I totally agree with the guy that made 11 articles of the government. Pretty much it would be the government controlling everything and giving all the money earned by hard working citizens to the lazy bums that sit at home watching cable TV drinking beer. They would also add something about how since it's OK to kill your baby ( also known as human life cough cough) before it's born so you should be able to kill them up until the age of 3 or so. They would argue since the baby can't talk it's not a human yet. =(

Oh geez.....this is such a good question!!!! Wish I didn't have to go make dinner, I could write a book!!! I'll check answers later!
*** Ok dinner's done. Have to agree with Cincy's articles. I would add:
Article #? - We will at all cost, refuse to defend ourselves under any circumstances. If any country (or religion) has a grievance against us we will modify our behavior to satisfy said country (or religion).
***LOL "right to bear and use drugs" very clever!!

Modern liberals don't have the intellect to do anything like the Forfathers did. More importantly, they don't have the same thought processes. They aren't capitalists, and many have no religious faith so their document would be heavily biased by anti-religious fervor and anti-capitalism. There would be no Second Amendment.

They would definitely change it so that the words ... "WALL of SEPARATION between CHURCH and STATE" would actually appear in the Constitution. But ... lucky for them, they aren't bound by the truth; so, the fact that those words DON'T appear, doesn't even slow 'em down a little.

What would it look like in your mind, if written by what you see as liberals today? is a better question and more accurate. It's entirely based on a concept that only exists in your head, so how can it be answered logically?
