My parents are getting divorced. I'm going to live with the one in NJ instead of the one in NY where I have always lived. The Rule is permit-NY 16 NJ 17. License- NY 16 NJ 18. With my permit I can only go to school so is there a way that I can legally live with both of my parents but go to school in NJ. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

ya but u should ask this question from yur parents. U can ask your parents that for yur study reasons you wana stay at NJ at hostel or as paying guest somewhere, and then after finishing school you can live where ever u want?

At 13, you can't even get a permit in either state. Even with a permit, you need a licensed ADULT in the front passenger set to drive legally. The ONLY way you could possibly drive legally would be a 'hardship' license. Unless you left out ALL the relevant information, you don't qualify. You can not be a legal resident of NJ for school enrollment and and of NY for driver's licensing.

Nope - you would need a permit in BOTH states...

The full license, though - is good in both states ;););)

Ask your parents to help you.
