The Indian Captain's position is the most valuable position in the cricketing arena. After Rahul Dravid, India has many a leaders within.
But the leader should lead as well as perform to make his position meaningful.
And for that Yuvraj Singh is well suited.
But u cannot forget Kaif who is a better leader than Yuvi and so he must be the captain

Here are the probables: Sehwag: he is an experienced player and a deserving candidate for the captaincy but he is very lay back as a captain and I don't think he is as street mart as Dhoti is. Ghambhir: He can a the captain but I don't know what his repor with the other players.. Can he be a true leader? I don't know for sure. Raina: well, I saw his as a captain but he made many mistakes/blunders so I think he can wait for a couple of years for training. Harbhajan: He is experienced and a fighter too, but there is something about his personality that just doesn't suit with the responsibility of a captain. Yuvraj Singh: He would love to lead the team and he has some qualifications that some others don't but at the moment he is struggling to maintain his position in the team. Any extra burden would hurt his game. Sachin: He is perfect but he himself is unwilling to be the captain. He was the very good captain for Mumbai team but he is not in the race. I think it would work as a great surprize and intimidating to send him for the world cup as the captain.

Rahul Dravid is the best person to this job as he is a calm and patient person which is what basically u require in a captain.As of now until Dravid does not retire he is good and then you should probabaly shift to Yuvraj Singh

At this point of time it should be Rahul Dravid because he is more consistent among the current team. Sachin and Ganguly have already been captains. There aren't any other players who can be captain as of now.

Yuvraj singh
because the captain should be a person who should play for his country, but not for his own being. also should have the ability to change the match. he can also guide the team better than any other players. he is a match winner for india in many circumstances. he has the passion towards india...

Rahul Dravid is doing a decent job and I don't think there is a need for another captain in his presence. After his retirement, I think Yuvraj or Sehwag should take his place.

Rahul Dravid is not doing bad at all as a captain now and as such there is no reason to replace him at this stage. However, by the time he is to be replaced, Yuvaraj Singh and M.S. Dhoni are favourite contenders for the captaincy.

Rahul is doing his job absolutly perfect,and if he must be replaced i will opt for yuvi,since he can handle the pressure very well which can be explained by his recent innings and he is a good bowler and an awesome fielder too.
