Okay-- it's a LONG story. You ready?
So, my hubby and I lived in CA together. He's from CA, I'm originally from MN. My family is all still in MN as well. Hubby gets cranky, has a mid-life crisis, and decides he maybe doesn't want to be married anymore. Family in MN says, "Come home! Come home!", so I leave hubby and CA and head back to MN. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Rather than stick it out and work on things, I decide to give him the space that he seems to want. Cross country move + not working for six months = BROKE. Almost one year later, hubby and I decide that we need to both grow up and work on things, and so I will be moving BACK to CA in a couple of months. Another move cross country + probably not working again right away = MORE BROKE THAN EVER.
Moral of the story-- if you're gonna get married, it IS for better or for worse. If you have doubts, don't do it! And if you do it, and you STILL think you need to get out of it, for the love of GOD, DON'T MOVE ACROSS THE DAMN COUNTRY just so you can have some space.

Following someone to college and having to take out student loans and am now in debt. Very stupid expensive mistake. Will never do that again and will tell my children not to do it either and make their own choice. I kick myself everyday for doing that.

Lived on my credit card for 4 months expecting to be called back to work, maxed out the card and the company I worked for started slashing their manning so I was left with no job and $4000 bill with no way to pay it off.

Hmmmmm....
Expensive in the emotional sense: trusting the WRONG people... Alot of wisdom gets learned the hard way, and unfortunately, I am very wise.

now thats a good question. i dont have alot of money to be making mistakes with anyway, so im pretty careful. but i guess it would be taking my truck to this repair shop and told them to fix it. i didnt get an estimate. i went to pick it up and they didnt have the bill ready. i asked them how much it was and he said, "dont worry hun, ill take care of you" he took care of me all right. i got the bill in the mail a couple weeks later. he took care of me. LMAO!

Marrying my first boyfriend 35 years after we met...didn't work out...I knew it was not for me but went ahead. Biggest mistake of my life and I sorely regret it.
