Dan ... there are several things that could be happening:
1.) You've eaten too much to close to working out or eating the wrong things.
2.) You haven't eaten for too long before working out.
3.) You aren't drinking enough water during the day and throughout your exercising to keep hydrated. (This happens a lot during the summer - even to conditioned athletes because of the heat.)
4.) It could possibly be an ulcer just starting - many times it gets aggravated during exercise.
5.) It could very well be a mild bacterial infection or virus in your stomach or gut. (This could come from food poisoning that is lingering or any number of small "bugs" you can get in your gut.)
If symptoms are mild and you aren't really experiencing them at any other time I am betting it's either #'s 1 ~ 3. It is possible to "over" exercise you know. And you're running AND going to the gym. You may be just simply overdoing it. If you know you are eating right, getting enough sleep (need this to recover), and drinking enough water then I'd see the doctor. Just to be safe. Otherwise make adjustments to those 3 areas and it should help!

I've felt like that too and its because I dont drink enough water or I eat before I work out. Try drinking plenty of water after your exercises that might help and avoid eating 1 or 2 hours before going to the gym. :)

I'm not a doctor but i know the feeling.I think maybe it's because you ate to little, or too much before u went to gym.Remember u should wait a 90 minute period after u eat before u exercise. This is the most ideal time because ur body gets time to digest some of ur food and it releases some energy.Hope this helps.Peace!!!

If you eat a lot before you go to the gym, then just cut back on the eating. If that's not the problem, maybe you should see a doctor to see what the problem may be.

It sounds like one or more of the following:
1. You are new to exercise or to exercise this strenuous
2. You have become dehydrated. Have some water before, during, and after the workout.
3. You are eating either too soon before or too heavily after the workout. Avoid mayo - it's hard to digest right after a heavy workout.

It has been extremely hot where I live, If the same is true for you, it may be the heat. When the weather is extreme sometimes people have to take there physical activity down a notch.

Be sure to stretch before and after you workout. Drink plenty (but not too much water). How often are you working out?

You've probably been working out too much. Take a break for about a week and if you're still sick, see your doctor.
