The Lakers seemed to be trying to pull off a deal but then they just vanished. Even JO wouldn't help drastically, he could help the Lakers pull themselves up a couple seeds and win some playoff rounds.

The Lakers got put in a bad spot this off season first by all the injuries (Walton, Kwame, Odom, Radmon), and then by Kobe crying to the media in those stupid radio interviews. Why would anyone trade for their players now? Even if it is a good deal, the other team's GM looks stupid no matter who he gets, because it has been decided that Odom and Brown suck, Bynum is overratted, etc. The Lakers are going to have to go with what they have, and fix the reputation of some of these guys. I personally think that Odom and Bynum are too much to pay for O'Neal. But it doesn't look that way, because Odom is hurt, and Bynum is too young to know if he is going to be any good. O'Neal is good, but he is no KG or someone like that.

Bynum and Kobe are the only tradeable adult men on the Lakers who've fee. Odom and Brown failed their wellbeing analyze and Walton isn't a extremely prevalent participant first of all. because of the fact the Lakers will no longer be able to commerce Kobe, they ought to commerce Bynum. And if Kobe particularly needs to win, he better restructure his contract and take much less money. And he better no longer feud with this O'Neal or KG, or whoever. Lakers ought to commerce Bynum as a manner to get a veteran participant. Bynum is an prolonged term challenge, and Kobe basically have been given like 3 years left in the tank.

Nope, Larry Bird said Jermaine is staying. See link.

Sorry, the only person who can help the Lakers is Kobe and that is if Kobe grows up and takes less money.

depends how badly the lakers want bynum. the deal before was odom+bynum for JO, but if i were indy i would ask for more because bynum is still just potential. JO is a sure thing. bynum can still very well end up being a bust. you know what youre getting with JO. so if i were bird, id ask for more.

I haven't heard any news lately....If it was going on i would hear it because I follow the NBA so I always get the scoop really quick......i really don't think that the Pacers will trade O'Neal this off-season....maybe before the Trade Deadline in Feb......but I don't see O'Neal going anywhere this summer.

Forget it, the lakers promise Kobe to get better but it never happens. Kobe is going to get so sick of this and he's going to request a trade one more final time.
