I have this great uncle who is like, in this nursing home. He ain't never been married nor does he have kids. The nursing home is a sad, depressing, not to mention SMELLY place to visit, let alone live in. His birthday is coming up and I was thinking of hiring a stripper for him.

Do you think he'd enjoy that? He's like 90 years old.

LoL I use to work in a nursing home! OMG I think he would dig it but They will not let it happen! sorry! But maybe you could arrange for him to go on an outing with you! or bring stuff for a picnic and sit outside in the fresh air! I know that when they are in the nursing home for a while they start to feel couped up, distant from there family like an outsider and get depressed but when there family comes and see them and spends a day with them it is the best thing in the world to them. I know it maybe a smell place but just open up your heart and that smell you won;t even notice it after a while! Good Luck! Wish Him a Happy Birthday for me! I can only imagine the look on his face and all the other gentlemen!

come on the man is 90 why not an old fashion Birthday with friends, family, and cake. People in nursing homes need visits from family not strippers to cause them to have a heart attack or something.

My first question is: does he have a heart condition?

Not really.

If you are going to take him somewhere private, like your house or a friend's house and have the stripper come there, that might be okay. But you should probably just come out and ask him if he would like that. Surprises like this at his age could proove fatal.

Also, I don't think the nursing home would allow a stripper to perform there.

it would depend on the person. people in nursing homes like to live as normal as lives possible. check with the social services department about when and where the stripper would perform. it might be that you would need to take him out due to space confinments.

best of luck

I work in a nursing home, and I can tell you, a stripper would not be allowed in the facility. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Why not, instead, fix a nice picnic lunch and take him out into the fresh air for a couple of hours. He'd probably appreciate that a lot more.

If he's 90, it'll probably kill him. Not to mention that nursing homes tend to frown on that type of thing. :)

I think that's against the rules and regulations. How about if you take him a nice prune cake :P
