Thanks for the names so far. I know there aren't a lot of J names so I'm sure they were really hard to find. Also Donegal Rose, I'm only part Cherokee (but it shows like in my cheekbones) but no one believes it because I was born (platinum) blonde with blue eyes too.

Please don't post anymore non-Cherokee names. I don't need names like Jennifer and Michelle. They aren't Cherokee and I didn't ask for non-Cherokee names.

Wow, this was a tough one. I did a search but didn't find very many. These are the few I did find that were pretty. Not many "J" names
Jayce = Strong
Magena = Moon
Mika = Intelligent raccoon
Mona = Gathered of the seed of a jimson weed
Mai = coyote
So how about Magena Jayce, Mika Jayce or Jayce Mai???

I'm a member of the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma. (I'm a natural blonde with blue eyes!) Cherokees don't usually have "Indian" first names. Our names are usually simply ordinary names such as James, Jennifer, Marsha, Allen, Timothy, Sarah, etc. Boring I know! Sometimes adults choose a "colorful" nickname for themselves, or the Tribe may grant a person one. The current Chief of the Cherokee's is Chad Smith (yes, that's his birth name!) He has the Indian nickname of "Corntassel". My most distant Cherokee ancestor was "Nan-gi-ya" which she Anglicized to "Nancy" when she married. This was well over 200 years ago. One reason we're called "the Civilized Tribe", we adopted the white man's ways long ago. Try going to the official Cherokee Nation website.
