As for the ACLU, they have there good points and there bad. Not everyone will agree with what they stand for, but for them to be fair, they have to represent the people that haven't done anything to people that have committed treasonous acts like Oliver North and the Iran contra scandal. They are definately a necessary group and they do very good work no matter what opinions people have of them.
As for the Freedom From Religion Foundation, they have a right to exist just as any religious foundation. They don't shove their ideas down societies throats like some religious groups do here in the US. I agree with them and think they are doing good work as well.
Both groups are needed and have a right to exist. Both groups benefit democracy.

FFRF has been greater helpful for the reason that horrid M. Murray O'Hair grew to become into no longer a member. they have taken on various subject concerns related to church/state and altered issues. American Atheists are recuperating with Blair Scott, and dropping the stigma of O'Hair. different good communities are the militia association of Atheists and Freethinkers, and the militia Freedom beginning place (the latter based and run with the help of Air rigidity Academy grad Mikey Weinstein). Rock The fort grew to become into an outstanding secular journey this spring at feet. Bragg. each and every of the above communities plus individuals United helped out.

They did in the past, but today they are really nothing more than a business and are doing more harm than good.
Did you know that in Virginia the ACLU leader Charles Tierney (something like that) was arrested with a computer full of child porn? No wonder they support pedophiles.
Did you know that religion and specifically Christianity laid the foundation for freedom as it is known and defined in Western civilization? "read about Lord Acton" and he was not a bible thumper, he's famous for the phrase "power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts....absolutely" That was directed towards the Roman Catholic church in the mid 1800's when one of the popes decreed the church was infallible. His opinions are logical and well researched, that's why nobody ever hears about him in the public school system which employs quite a few pedophiles, probably more than the Catholic church but it's appears to be a close race.

All the ACLU does is support and help to enforce the First Amendment to the Constitution. That's ALL THEY DO. Anyone who has a problem with that should wonder about their own patriotism...
By the way, 'sieg heil', if you hadn't conveniently made it impossible to email you, I'd gladly share with you the ways in which these organizations have made this a better country.

They've eroded the morals and ethics this country was founded on. They've also taken ANY mention of God out of schools, which should teach morality, even if they don't prosthelitize to the kids. They've created a godless society of miscreants, which will eventually have no fear of authority or a good greater than themselves.
Seperation of church and state never meant, "Take God out of the country." It meant "there will be no ESTABLISHED religion IMPOSED on The People. Read the Federalist Papers if you are interested in the subject.
I also HATE the ACLU for not taking a stand on the behalf of citizens regarding OUR Second Amendment Rights. Its an individual right and they do not support it. That leads me to believe that the ACLU is a liberal institution (duh!) and that any political institution that "safeguards" our rights needs to be watched carefully.
I do not like the ACLU and I'm an attorney. They have their limited use, but then get political and screw up our country in the process.

This is supposed to be a free country. Whether one agrees or disagrees those groups have a right to assemble peacefully, to free speech, free press and so on. I wouldn't have it any other way. Only cowards want the opposition destroyed or banished.

I am glad for any organizations in the U.S. So long as we have the RIGHT to form our own opinions and talk about them, we have more freedoms than many places in the world.

They have done everything they can to drag this country down. They should be run out of the country. Particularly the dreaded ACLU. They have been more anti-American and anti-Christian than any group I'm the country. It's a shame that our tax dollars pay for the scum bags that pose as Lawyers.

I agree with some things that they are for or against, but I also think that they go too far on some issues.

Around here we call them the "All Communists Lovers Unhinged" group because they seem to be for the wrong things and against the right ones.
