The job is Croyle's to lose. Unless he is completely terrible during the preseason, he is going to be handed the starting spot as the QB of the future.

Yes, Huard has more experience and played well last year, but if anyone here would read any NFL news, they would know it has already been said multiple times that Herm Edwards prefers getting Croyle in and letting him grow into the role now as a a long term solution, rather than going with Huard right now and switching later on.

if i were herm edwards, i would choose huard. even though croyle may perform well in practice, he's only made 7 career attempts and has little playing time. i'd go with the experienced quarterback. i mean, is everyone forgetting huard's performance last year? 11 TDs and only 1 interception? 98.0 passer rating? Lead the team to a playoff berth? Wouldn't YOU go with the guy that gave you all that instead of an inexperienced 2nd year?

but hey. you never know. croyle might come in and start and be spectacular. i wouldn't risk my team's record on it, so i'd still stick with the reliable huard.

Definately Huard because of experience. But I bet Croyle will be it in week 8 because Huard will get hurt.

brody croyle,is a hell of a lot better than hurd or whatever his name is.in both his jr. and sr. croyle led the tide undefeated deep into those seasons. huard started one game because a bengal (who dey) gave trent green booboo on the head and was okay in the stat strip because all he did was giving it up to priest holmes

I think Huard will start, but only because he is the veteran. He's o.k., but I think eventually they should go with Croyle.

Didnt Huard put up like a 98 qb rating w/ somewhere around 11 touchdowns vs. ONE interception?? Kind of a no brainer.
