The absence of stress and anxiety. Calmness, tranquility, contentment. I get peace from praying and knowing I'm in God's will.

Tranquility is my definition of peace and I find it while I walk in beauty each day. I'm 50 years old and my aunt said that when I was a little girl all I talked about was how beautiful this world is. Although there is much hate and racism in this world today, I can still see the Creator's beauty. I love people and although some people talk and act ugly, I still look for the beauty. I'm the type of person that still believe in inner peace.

I didn't know peace and want to know peace until I met my wife completely by accident and she showed me that there is much more beyond hatred. She took the time and the years to help me with this and after a time, I found peace. With her and our two children, the peace has never been better.

Peace to me is being in a quite room, being relaxed, and being serene. Peace is filled with God, Joy, and beauty felt within. Peace to me is also revealed through singing a song, and or watching children play. Peace is feelings of happiness, and feelings of calm. Peace to me is sitting in a nice hot bubble bath, in a candle lit bathroom, sipping a glass of a fine red wine!! That is what I call total and utter peace.

The only real peace to be found will not be found until Jesus comes back to rule his favorite little planet Earth.
For the little peace we can find in our currently screwed up world we have to PUT IT in our hearts. Not too easy, but possible

Peace with God thru Jesus Christ is where it's at for me, in a nutshell. I know someone who is depressed, unhappy and angry all the time. Can explode in a heartbeat; ....he thinks he is "right with God." How wrong he is! But, no one can tell him anything. [he has such a superior attitude] Tsk, tsk, tsk. He is an electrical engeener and has a Master' degree, and lots of money; know what? I wouldn't swap places with him for any of that. I'd rather live on the edge, and be broke, yet have the peace of God, than be in his shoes.
