My neighbor did the other day. He was drunk. His parents took his car away for a few days.

I have never heard of anyone doing this, but I have heard of people driving into stores and houses.
I myself drove into a support pole for a motel overhang when I was on my honeymoon.
I was driving a stick-shift and my then-husband told me I was "doing it wrong". I was trying to learn to do things "his" way when let's just say I zigged instead of zagged, and hit the support.
We paid for the damage and the co-owner of the motel told me that she was secretly happy that I had done it because she had once driven right into one of the rooms (she had seen her husband bent over and people all around him and she'd assumed he was having a heart attack) and her husband had never let her hear the end of it. *LOL*
As for your friend, he got off easy!

Well a long time ago, my crazy brother decided he would take my Father's car, so him and his buddy got in the car, but forgot to open the garage door, and yup, drove right through it.

My friends mum parked her car in the driveway that has a slight hill.

My friends dad got home, and the car was parked in the garage - with the door still closed heheh.

What the heck was he doing parking in the game room? That's for your pool tables not to park cars in! Did it hurt the pool table and big screen TV?

No but I have seen a lady park her car inside a Dairy Queen. Her foot slipped off the brake. That was funny!

If I did that, my parents would take away my car forever.
