Turtles can go quite a long time without food before they die. I've found bloodworms in the pet section at Wal-mart before. You shouldn't be feeding them just bloodworms anyway. They need a variety of foods to keep them healthy. Tiny dried shrimp, floating food pellets, even bits of raw meat provide a balanced diet for your turtles.

Turtles are not exactly programmed feeders, they are opppertunistic and whenever there is food available will probably eat it, if you havent fed them since yesterday at 8 then they should be fine forr one or two more days, if you can, I strongly recommend you go outside and try and find earthworms, look under rocks, or under garbage cans or other things which they often surface under, young aquatic turtles are almost always more carniverous than the adults primarily b/c their jaws are not very strong yet and do better on things that they do not have to bite off, earthworms are most definitely the best choice here and when you can get to a store you should buy commercial turtle food for a more varied nutrition with freeze dried baby shrimp. good luck

They need a varied diet. They cant stick to just one type of food. Its not very good for them. They need 25% meat 25% commercial diet and 50% vegetable matter. Try this site it gives great examples of feeding items. http://www.anapsid.org/reslider.html
Make sure you have the right habitat and everything else to because it doesn't sound like you did much research before hand. even though it does sound like you care enough about them. They are complex little critters with a lot more needs then most people think.
Good luck

Try feeding it different type of veggies (not spinach), or different types of fruits. Bloodworms shouldn't be their only source of food. You need to vary it up. Try giving them lie fish (goldfish, guppies) . The live food give them some exercise they need.
