I'm sure you mean what star is the closest to the earth besides the sun...so here is a list of a few I found in the book "A Journey Through Time" :

Proxima Centauri --- 4.2 LY
Alpha Centauri --- 4.3
Luyten 726-8 --- 5.8
Barnard's Star --- 6.0
Wolf 359 --- 8.1
Lalande 21185 --- 8.3
Ross 154 --- 9.3
Procyon --- 10.4
Ross 248 --- 10.4
Eridani --- 10.7
61 Cygni --- 10.9
Ceti --- 10.9
Ross 128 --- 11.2
Indi --- 11.3

"A Journey Through Time" is an excellent book I highly recommend to anyone interested in astronomy.
Hope this helps. Goodluck

Well, the sun, obviously, at 93 million miles, and next would be Proxima Centauri, at 4.3 light years away (about 24 trillion miles).

Alpha Centauri, a multiple star system -- 4.37 lightyears away.

Proxima Centauri comes the closest of the group at 4.22 lightyears away.

Yeah, yeah, the Sun. Very funny.
