I think that as long as O'bama keeps doing what he is doing, he will end up being the top contender for the Democrats. He is younger, which automatically appeals to the college and younger voters, however his youth means that he hasn't been in the political game that long. Since he hasnt been in there for a long time, I would say that a lot of people might see him as a newcomer, but this can be good since they won't see him as an old corrupt guy who is in it for money. O'bama has some good ideas and his background truly is one of those who comes from where the people come from. They won't have to masquerade him as a commoner, because his past was as a commoner. Hillary clinton might pose a huge threat to O'bama, except I dont think a lot of people will go for her due to her demeanor, what bill did, and that she carries the same last name as Bill (clinton. Meaning we will have a 2nd clinton, after the 2nd bush... which didnt work out too well).

You can throw out the college votes Obama is counting on, they never turn out (even in Puffy's vote or die). Obama and Hillary will split the black vote, leaving room for someone like Edwards to slip in-or perhaps Gore will show up out of no where. And, with the war doing positive (NY Times), and the democrat congress not accomplishing any of it's running goals (aside from min. wage, and it even fell short of the promised increase), it doesn't look good at all for the dems.

On the republican side, Fred Thompson. He jump in, in the middle of the race with more money and energy and blow everyone else away.

I think our next Pres will probably be Rudy Giuliani but I have way too many disagreements with him politically to vote for him. I'm voting Ron Paul.
