Post coital headache, such as you describe is quite common. Coital cephalgia is a headache related to sexual activity usually at or near orgasm. The intense physiological effect of sex does many things including increase blood pressure. You should get a full check up with your GP, confirming among other things that under normal conditions your BP is fine.

I do the same thing. But only if the sex is really good. I will trade a headache for good sex anyday. But its caused from dehydration. Drink a glass of water after and it goes away.

I would think from the um.. exercise you are getting and the blood rushing to your head several times.. I would try no coffee for a few hours before...... non after... or alcohol.. put a damp cool flannel on your brow afterwards.. close your eyes.. and try to sleep..

All that was meant seriously.

Sex and orgasm raise your blood pressure. If you are dehydrated or are prone to headaches, etc., you can end up with a whopper of a headache. It happens to me on occasion.
