What has happened to our legal system? According to the Jury, Ramos and Compian broke the law. They have the right to request an appeal. I have never once heard Lou Dobbs claim that they were innocent of the charges.

And that jury was wrong!! They were doing their job in protecting our border from Mexican drug dealers, and illegals in general. What's wrong with our legal system are people like you who would rather defend the criminal and blame law enforcement. And what the hell does Lou Dobbs have to do with it? Why does it matter what HE has or hasn't claimed.

If the job of law enforcement is to kill people, they aren't very good at it, are they?

Yes, they apparently broke the law. Have you looked into the purpose of that law? It wasn't intended to be used against law enforcement agents, it was intended to be used against people like the illegal immigrant drug dealer that was the prosecution's star witness.

Bush apparently didn't fire nearly enough prosecutors.

well ... it says right on the car - 'to protect and serve'

but I would agree that most people who desire to become police officers do it so they can shoot at people ... why else would anyone want that thankless job ... i'm sure there are good cops out there, but most of them are just in the movies
