I don't know. I heard he had been drinking when it happened and that is why he was so low profile about it. With his heart problems though, that could be just as much a bunch of crap.
You can bet one thing, we'll never hear what really happened.

He was most likely too worried about how his friend was faring than he was concerned about making it a national news story that this accident had happened.
I admit the White House often seems to keep a ton of secrets about their doings from the general populace, but I don't think this would have been an intentional secret. It was a human being concerned about another human and laying low for the other human's sake.
Probably so Mr. Whittington could have some privacy for a little while before eventually, yes, the story would somehow leak out. It was the Vice President, after all, not just some average Joe. So of course it would hit the news someday.

What side do you think you are on by insulting our Vice President and spreading unfounded rumors about him?
America's?
I don't think so. I am. I protest. I do so respectfully. I do so legally.
What you are resorting to is cheap and uncalled for, but oh, so easy, especially when you lack ethics or patriotism.
It's isn't the protest that is unpatriotic. I have many friends who protest, like I do, putting our country ahead of our personal ideologies. We protest our elected representatives policies, goals, decisions, without resorting to...
...playground tactics.
You don't speak for me, or for any patriot. This is why Republicans mistakenly think Democratic party members aren't patriotic. Many of them, like you, are more into political bigotry than trying to help our country.
Oh, I do want you to keep posting. I believe in Free Speech. I and others like me made that a household value. Even the Republicans have adopted it (took them a while, but they aren't the idiots the political bigots would like to think they are; they just have different goals).
Don't do this. It's cheap.

No, but I heard that after he shot that guy, there was a dramatic pause. Then he leered around at all the other men and asked "Anyone else have any stupid questions about friggin' WMD's?", and then began cackling hysterically. ...speaking of which, did anybody ever figure out who killed MaryJo? Her family is still waiting for justice.

No, but he was concerned, like any real person.
It's much ado about nothing.
I sometimes think that we Democrats would be better off getting a job, and working for a living. Instead of acting like little old snoopy ladies and bothering ourselves with little trivial things.

Obama is in basic terms too smart to symbolize the dumba$$ inhabitants of united states of america of america. human beings do not deserve Obama; they deserve the likes of George Bush who thinks on an identical point of logic (that's very low).
