I just got my new motherboard in the mail,and it didnt come with a cmos battery. Would it be fine if it put my old cmos battery from my current motherboard into my new one? Or am i gona have to make the trip all the way to sears or target or whatever to get the battery? ><

Most likely YES. Almost all motherboards use the CR2032 lithium battery. This battery is cheap and even some camera stores have them.

Do a search on the motherboard and see if you can find the information for the battery type.

I wouldn't just throw in any old battery, unless you feel lucky.

If the old one is the same size(which i expect it is) stuff it in!!!!!......they last for years
