Wow.....that job at McDonald's must sure pay alot if you can afford transportation, electricity, rent, food, car insurance, clothes, cable tv, internet, gas, renter's insurance, a renter's deposit, cleaning supplies, household items....should I go on or should I stop laughing? Honey, like the other peole said, suck it up and stay at home. What makes you think that at 15 (or even your 23 year old insides) you can make it on your own? Older folks can't even make it on minimum wage....it takes a lot of hard work, which you don't seem to want to do. GROW UP, then move out when you are 18.

I only am going to address this situation from a father’s point of view. Where is your father by the way and why aren't you talking to him or your mother for that matter? First of all young lady, I am amazed that you would give up a home with no rent. Second I am amazed that you are even asking this question. Third stay in school and get good grades and get a better job and don't have babies. Do you really need to be told what to do? If you answered yes then you are too young to be moving out and you still need guidance by an adult - not a 23-year-old boyfriend - but by a real adult who cares about you. If your boyfriend cared about you then he would know this and tell you this and you wouldn't be asking this question to strangers online.

It is in life as it should be. No rent, no food bills, no electric bills, no car payments, no diapers, no doctor bills, no dental bills, no insurance bills and you still want to move out and start paying for these bills. Think about it young one before you make any moves and only when you are totally and mentally ready.

You have to go through the court system and prove you meet the criteria for an emancipated minor. Evidence includes: 1) a family hardship where you are the only person who can remedy the problem through employment 2) you demonstrate that you are financially able to live independently as an adult via gainful employment and have a history of (observably) mature behavior. The first step in proving you deserve emancipation is to gather the application, fill it out completely, and go through the process of obtaining a court date.

Not legal to move out on your own until you are 18. You may want to find a guardian you can live with. Perhaps another family member. ps- Its not going to be easier on your own. I also think all kids your age want to move out at some point cause they dont get along with their parents. pps- can I get the 23 yr old's phone number? jk

Best to stay with your parents until you are mentally able to combat the "REAL WORLD". It's not all FUN and GAMES as there is a thing called "RESPONSIBILITY" you must learn to accept.
