I already know it is not the condensor or compressor or anything else in the AC system itself. Those all work fine. It is just the blower motor or something connected to it that is not working. When it first broke, I could get the a/c to blow out a little by banging really hard on the dash board. It was not as hard as it should have been, but at least it worked. Now that won't even work. My questions are: 1) Is it the blower motor or could it be something cheaper/simpler than the blower motor? 2) If it is the blower motor, where the hell is the little sucker? 3) How much should it cost, parts and labor to repair it if I can't do it myself (which is a safe bet?) thanks!!!!

First check the fuse, next since banging on the dash seemed to help check that the wires to the blower are tight and not corroded.

Check your fuses first. Make sure none of them have blown out. Your user's manual will tell which one controls the blower fan. If you want to know what it costs, call a mechanic or a parts store. Why does everyone depend on Yahoo to tell them what car parts cost? You could have called a store and gotten a quote in the time it took to post this. It's not like mechanics sit on here with their quote book just waiting to tell people what stuff costs. They only tell that stuff to potential costumers because that's who will pay them.

This sounds like a loose connection by your dashboard,If before you could get it to work by banging on it, then more likely it is, try going under the dash and with motor running and fan selected on, wiggle wires.

This happened to my brother with the same make of car a couple of years ago. He checked the fuses and it was not that. He took it to an auto-electrician and they fixed it for him. It cost him about $150.
Before it stopped completely he had to put it on full to get any air to come through.

its NOT the fuse. otherwise, The fans would've suddenly stoped working w/ no warning.
Take the dash apart and check for loose connector fittings. Also check for debress like a quarter or a pen that may be stuck between the lips of the fan.
