if you are against abortions, dont have one...if you are against same-sex marriage dont marry someone from the same sex...agree? disagree? other?? my thing is either of those things dont impact YOU, so why would you have a say to it? if you dont like it dont do it..

Gang violence does affte you and everyone because a member in our family might be an innocent vctim of a gun shot
hunger homelessness does affect you because it's everywhere and in your face and mine
domestic violence effects you because that person who is being abused might have kids who is watching it, say those kids go out with yours it might be a cycle, you might have a parent going through that nad no know it
drunk driving affects anyone ebcause when that driver is on the road, you dont know when and if you or your family member might the one he/she kills
drug use see gang violence

I disagree, these issues may not impact everyone directly, however that is denying the big picture.
It affects all of us because of the impact it has on society.
Will it only be "wrong" if it negatively affects a person, or persons who then deem it wrong based solely on the criteria that is was wrong for them?
Gang violence, or any other crime in a major city in the US, hunger homelessness, domestic violence, drunk driving, drug use, none of these will always directly impact me, or my family; should I therefore simply be silent until it does?
We as a society will directly pay the price, and in many instances we already are, again I disagree.
Edit:
My point is all these issues have an impact on everyone in some form or another.
On the abortion issue, are you not forgetting some?, the father, the unborn child, and their families.
