I will be driving fron Pennsylvania to Alabama and I want to know how i can prepare my car for the drive.

air pressure in the tires, oil level, transmission fluid level (if automatic), coolant level in the overflow reservoir.

Best thing is to take to a mechanic and have him inspect it, change the oil, check the fluids, brakes etc. just a general inspection to see if there are any problem areas.

Tire air pressure, oil, trans fluid, brake fluid, air filter, brakes, coolant and washer fluid.

All the guys are right and don't forget to check the condition of the hoses and belts.
