Twilight-NewMoon by Stephenie Meyer, about an average highschool girl (bella swan) who falls in love with a vampire (edward Cullen) who is so attracted by the scent of her blood that he could kill her! Twilight is the first one and NewMoon is the sequel. The 3rd book is Eclipse and it's coming out on August 7th! Good Luck!

all the books I read are good. the last Harry Potter was great. I'm reading the Inspector Alleyn series by Ngiao Marsh and those have all been good so far. now I'm reading Hotel Paradise by Martha Grimes. so far, so good. it's about a 12 year old girl who lives in a run down hotel. she solves the 40 year old mystery of the death of another 12 year old.

Personally, I would recommend A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray, and it's about this Indian girl who has 'visions' and has to live with them in the Victorian age. I also like A Drowned Maidens Hair byLAura Amy Schlitz. It's about an orphan girl who gets adopted by mediums. It's very good.

Uncle Tom's Cabin is my favorite book so far. It is about the slavery struggle, giving multiple perspectives on the issue. The ultimate message is that all are equal and have the same capacity for emotion, intellagence, and courage.
