I mean, now your supposed to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS instead? I celebrate Christmas so I should say happy christmas and not offend anyone. I wouldn't be offended if someone came up to me and said, "Happy Hannukah." or "kwanzah. Why do people get so easilly offended??

Because they want to be noticed too and if everyone is saying, "Merry Christmas" and only that then their holiday goes unnoticed..... everyone wants to feel like they are being included and what they are doing is popular.

I think some people feel like you're assuming that they're Christian and that can offend them if they're not.
Personally I have no problem with it.

because christmas refers to god and christ, and because there is so many religions someone might get offended. but to be honest i really dont care.
