Naw...listen to your teacher, but, always research what they say and have your own opinion.
I believe your teacher is wrong and that President Bush is moving Texas to the White House, they are drilling for oil directly in the back of the White House as we speak. Now you know that there is nearly a thousand wells erected already and will be ready for production by Dec. of 2007!
JUST JOKING..now you know what I mean by research and getting your own opinion on what the topic is all about. Have a great day!

Oh, I'm afraid you misunderstood. President Bush has been on vacation for the last six years, and he likes it in Texas. So, the staff of the Whitehouse (the people who work there) have moved there to keep the country running. He'll probably go back to work in January of '09, just to check on the place. But the building itself is still in Washington D.C.

I think your teacher said that in jest, trying for sarcastic humor. I surely hope no one teaching our country's youth would be that ignorant to believe that.
