Car stopped and we noticed a lot of oil. It was towed to dealer but they cannot look at until the morning

THE DEALER CHANGED YOU OIL AND DID NOT PUT THE FILTER ON RIGHT , CORRECT ,, GET A LAWYER AND A NEW ENGINE , MY FREIND DID OIL CHANGES AND A GUY DID THAT AND GOT A BRAND NEW ENGINE


NO IT DOES NOT HAVE AUTO SHUT OFF FOR OIL LOW

I read the manual, and I don't recall that feature. It has a feature to alternate firing of cylinders if overheating, to help reduce the engine heat, but nothing about automatic shut-off.

If your Fusion just stopped running after losing it's oil, it should have given you a warning light first. If that was ignored, it's likely engine damage was done and that's why it stopped running.
