Yes, I do because I think most of the people that are reporting and getting others suspended are under the age of 18, I think the content on this site is for adults and even if its not some of the things you'd have to be over the age of 18 to understand. I am not bashing on all the people under the age of 18, but I really do think the age limit should be at least higher than 13, but thats my opinon.

Absolutely YES. I hate having to censor everything I say for fear of a 13-14-15 year old reading it. Besides, the smart, mature, intelligent people under 18 are VERY few and far between. Every question they ask is about Hannah Montana, periods, or boys. And, I have yet to come across an intelligent answer to any of my own questions that comes from a young person.
That's my opinion, of course, but it's not realistic. There would be nothing stopping the minors from making up a birthdate and lying about their age. It's a great idea in theory, but not in practice.

It would be nice. But it wouldn't matter because think of how many kids there are on yahoo and everything else known on the internet that lie about their age so that they can do certain things online.
Half of the minors on yahoo did not put their real age when making their email, so they would have been allowed up here anyways.

It should be higher than it is, because it could get kinda out of hand if, say I thought I was talking to a 28 yr. old woman & she turns out to be 12 ! Age 18 sounds good, for their protection too.

I don't think many people would follow that. The age is 13 now and I see kids who are 9 or 10

no I think it should be like 15+. In the math section I see like the easiest 1st grader stuff. Little kids need to ask their teachers in order to learn, or their family. That is what I did when I was their age. =]

no. younger people have problems that they need answers for just like everyone else.
and if they couldn't ask, how would they get any answers? I've really noticed that there are a lot of teens and younger kids who get on Yahoo who need someone to give them advice.
and some of these kids honestly cannot talk to their parents.

i think they should have different levels for different ages.....that would keep the kiddy stuff to their own areas.....! and if you were NOT 18+, you could NOt enter OUR areas....would save a lot of time to weed out those kinds etc.....
