Can Someone help me with a Comcast email account?

Its not really for me, because i use Yahoo mail, but a friend of mine has had trouble recently with using his Comcast email account. he has tried to receive messages, but he cant receive any new emails. he has tried a lot of things, and nothing is seeming to work. PLEASE HELP

incoming mail server should be: pop.comcast.net

outgoing mail server should be: smtp.comcast.net
