it's silly, it sounds like 'hilarious'.
However, 'ilario' is an italian name for a boy, and 'elias' is quite a nice name. and the kid wouldn't get teased as much. x

No. I'm sorry if you really like it, but please for the love of God don't do it.
Everyone loves to think of wacky, fun names. But honestly, would you like that name??? Not at age 30, suddenly changing your name to ILARIOUS. But all the way from age -1. Growing up with that name, having teachers mispronounce it, being ashamed and giving a fake name whenever you order food, not raising your hand because you don't want to teacher to say your name, having everyone laugh whenever the sub takes roll call, meeting a cute girl and then giving her your name and number and having her think you're just joking around with her....hating your parents and changing your name the second you can.

Maybe Ilarious could be best friends with Sirius and help pick "kick me" signs off each other's backs...

As long as you like it that's all that matters, right? (although you may want to look at it through the eyes of a very littlte, immature, bully kid who would say "Oh it's Dilarious Ilarious" or something equally stupid)
I like Luke...

NO! NOT AT ALL! BUT, its your baby, he should grow up with a name he can be proud of. A name will be his title for the rest of his life (well in this case until he's 18!) Dont give him a title that he will be ashamed of.

Not a big fan of the name, but it's alright. It sort of sounds like hilarious. The poor kid might get teased.
