No, I don't. If pidgeons are a problem, outlaw people feeding them and control the littering problem better. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I think in theory its a great idea really, but the thought of all those pigeons eating birth control pills make me laugh my head off! Does it mean that the male birds that eat the pill will have female tendancies, lol, can they overdose on them and grow breasts!
How are they going to work out who has eaten them and who hasnt! Although I have to admit it does sound preferential to the treatment that the pigeons in Trafalgar Square in the UK got......

I think it's extreme, but it's better than
having pigeons take over the area.
And moreover, if animal rights groups
are okay with it, it should be fine because
normally this is the kind of issue they
would be throwing a hissy fit about. As
long as the birds aren't being hurt, which
they aren't, and the people are happy, I
don't see the harm in it.

I think it's necessary... The bird population being so thick can't be healthy for the people. They could have diseases and mites and lice and their droppings being everywhere is not only a health risk, but it makes for expensive repairs and such that occur because of build up.

Sorry but it sounds like a good way to control the pest population of pigeons. Would you rather they poisoned them?

it is sad but i mean there is an over population problem, they arent killing the birds and they arent going to make them go extinct or anything and its not permanent they will probably put a few birds on it once and thats it (it wont last forever)
but it is pretty cruel

Pigeons don't clean up after themselves, or even show any discretion about where they go...
yeah, it's odd but it's fair.
