do you like the new avril lavigne better or the old one?

think the old one is better! the new one seems like she is trying to hard. and i don't think her music is that great in this new album. seems to me she is kinda turning into what she said she wouldn't be.

If the new Avril Lavigne can put out just as many hits as the old one, then I'll gladly take them both.

She still seems the same to me. Before she did the "punk rock" look. And now? She's still doing the "punk rock" look. Sure, she went through that girly phase and wore designer duds, but that was gone and away once she put out another album. That phase is one I hope she brings back. Aside from all that, Avril is a fabulous writer (that is if she isn't like those other artists who say they write but really don't). She can make pop hits like no other.
