Probably because they are jealous of the people on this site that can be witty, smart, sometimes deep, and sometimes hilarious.
A lot of the things that they wish they could be. But can't.
It's really no different than breaking the toys of another child because you can't have it.
It is the price we pay for being an open forum. Perhaps they will learn something. But even if not, why should we worry too much about it.
So many people on this site become discouraged. But, isn't that the challange? Not to let the worms, trolls, and reporters get us down?
I'll get suspended. Again. For probably the 10th time. But so what?
Those punks ain't keeping me down!

I think its some weird kinda control thing. They become obsessed with that person, putting them on a peddle stall, living and breathing them 24/7 and its bloody scary. Their lives are filled with the person they are stalking so i guess its gives them something to focus on. I dont think that they are even aware of what their doing or the harm they're causing.

People are just curious - us humans, most of the time, feel inadequate. BUT what you just described is definitely "out of the norm" stalker-ish! It wouldn't be classified as a mental illness however...just more of an unhealthy obsession! I guess this is the reason why I deactivated my facebook account :3

Yes there is something lacking in their lives, and so they create this relationship/interest in their head. Often they lack the skills to form close relationships. I have seen a classification of types of stalkers, one of which was "the frustrated suitor" but there were about seven more.

living in mama's basement with only the computer screen for light.
