Wut Happened to Curtis Martin on the NYJ?

and i kno he didnt retire... he is still on the Jets roster, how come he cant make a comebck, 2 years ago he was one of the best RB's.

He retired.
He got too old and had injury problems.

he retired as of this year.. only reason he didn't retire last year is Marshall Faulk retired.. and in 5 years from the time they retired they are able to be in the Hall of Fame.. Curtis waited because he's a solid first ballot pick for HoF.. but Marshall Faulk will get more votes because of the championships he won at St Louis.. keep in mind Martin is 3rd all time in yards

He officially retired a few days ago. The Jets just haven't updated their roster lately.

He just retired because of his nee injury he got two years ago. He just now decided he wouldn't be able to play again.

Simple truth is he got out of shape while in rehab, and now he is a regular customer at the donught shop. He is a fat has been RB now.
