My daughter will be 2 in a few months and when I don't feel like spoon feeding her certain things I give her almost anything..she likes hamburger helper, mac and cheese..ya she gets messy but a quick bath fixes that. Also, even if she won't use it, put a spoon or fork w/her plate and let her do that. Kids pick up easy so if she sees you eating w/silverware she will know how to use it soon. Daughter likes peanut butter and jelly..cut them in 4's....she likes cereal, nutrigrain bars, bananas, chicken tenders, meat, noodles, pizza, pizza bites etc.

Sorry Ariel, Grapes and Carrots are chocking hazards.. I like to cook small pasta like diatini and use some babyfood as a sauce but, not too much she'll get it everywhere.. I also let my kids eat in their diapers, it's less messy and they can go right into the tub.. I also let my little one's eat small bits of mango, banana, strawberries and cooked carrots cut up about the size of a pinky nail.... My kids like rice and I cook it with chicken broth and add frozen mixed vegatables to it... I'll even but up some grilled/poached chicken in tiny pieces as well.. I like to make roasted sweet potato and scoop that out.. Just remember it's going to be messy.. That's half the fun ! I hope that helps..... Good luck

make it all bite size. i have these plates like from when we went camping as kids. in each little section i put different food , if we have, chicken, corn, bread. for dinner . then i add and extra fruit, or diff color veg. and give her a spoon and fork and let her go. she does not eat all but will try a bite or two of each one.... also when i make a simple sandwhich, i use a cookie cutter and put a shape in it, she has a pb &j heart!!! i will make faces on foods with raisins. or even m-nm's just to get her to eat it... she likes plain spagetti, no sauce, just a pinch of salt. and her sister has shown her how to suck up a long noodle. its so funny to see.... but again, whatever it takes to get her to eat....
