I want to run Vista on it ( I don't wanna here don't do it) i just need help finding 1gb ram drive for it. Any help, links, etc would just make my day.

No problem. Visit http://www.dell.com and search for Dimension 4600. Dell lists the specific type of memory for your system and you can order it straight from them.

Here you go:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820236112 that will work fine. I would recommend getting two of them, and then taking out whatever you currently have. This would give you 2GB, and since they would be matching pairs they would run in dual channel mode, which doubles performance.
