Conservative don't realize that Clinton's approval rating was the highest since FDR. Clinton was well liked. Only reason Conservative don't like him because of his infidelity.

Amazing what you can do with half-truths and a willingness to blame the folk not at fault. The first big bank sliding beneath the waves of the housing crisis was a non-signatory to the CRA, to wit WAMU. The loose regulatory policies of the current Administration made it possible for a few folk to make a lot of money by navigating a sea of paper. OF COURSE they pointed at some very minor things that happened much earlier to draw attention away from themselves, and you bought it. And the lie? Clinton asked the court for a definition and responded accordingly. And if you did not know that, I feel sorry for you. Despite the furore caused by the so-called moralists, they were unable to convict him. Now about Iraq supposedly having weapons of mass destruction, they did. George H. W. Bush supplied them when he was director of the CIA and later to fight the Iranians. The Iranians used a blood agent they got from the Russians (still Soviets) first, and then the Iraqis used a blister agent they got from us. Years later, the Iraqis had eliminated those weapons, mostly in the late 90s. But Rush and Sean won't tell you those things because they don't fit the narrow game they are running to enrich themselves. If you think they're sincere, then I really do feel for you.

Whether you like him or not, he left this country better off than he found it, and that was with a House and Senate controlled by the Republicans.

In 1996 he tried to get an anti-terrorist bill though the Republican Congress and they were against most of it, including picking up cell phone conversations between suspected terrorist! Trent Lott and that Orin Hatch were the main people who were apposed to it. He finally did get a watered down version!

He came very close to a balanced budget, something Bush has never even come close to doing!

Clinton conducted a 4 day attack on Iraq, which took out 53 military objectives the first day! No one was killed in this operation and the Republicans were apposed to that as well! He's why Saddam had no weapons. He also leveled that nuke plant!

I voted for Clinton, but I did so holding my nose. His policies were really not much different than Bush or Reagans.

To me it's a wonder that the American people are so divided over trivial differences and miss the bigger picture.

To cons that think Clinton was some sort of liberal, I point out he did more to end welfare than any other president in modern times.

But in the end, he served the same masters.
