Were I you, dump the limewire. It was declared unsafe at least 5 years ago. Then do a complete system-wide virus scan. Then do an adware-malware scan with Spybot Search & Destroy. Once you are sure the system is clean use:

Never have I gotten a virus or any malware from it yet (been using it for 2+ years) and it handles torrents too!
